South African teenager Jessica is taking the Women’s European Cup by storm, taking victory on her debut in the opening race of the new season, and propelling the first all-women team WithU 511 Racing to the top.

Rides souped-up demolition derbies, flat-track and snow bikes around the USA, including X Games. The world of the electric scooter racing is a far cry from the loud, noisy Super Hooligan races that Aaron Guardado normally races. The Californian has competed in the event at X Games racing souped-up Harleys, which he and his brother Shaun customise in their Long Beach workshop. The Guardado brothers have always been attracted to cars and bikes and have spent their lives fine-tuning machines to maximise their performance. Aaron's a big fan of Valentino Rossi and says it must be fate that his bus route to school was 46! The pair learned their trade working at their father's business before branching into their own company, SMCO (Suicide Machine Company). “We do demolition derbies, build flat-track bikes for X Games, snow bikes for winter X Games and right now I’m working on a vehicle which I’ll go and race at Daytona,” says Aaron. The American is also a regular in the Gumball 3000 rally, the 3,000km celebrity road race around major cities in Europe or North America. But he's just as at home on an electric vehicle. Last year, he took an electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire to Laguna Seca for a demo at the final round of MotoAmerica. “Suddenly, because I was riding it, a lot of people stood up and took notice…”

Sara grew up near the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya where she’d follow the exploits of her heroes Valentino Rossi and local legend Marc Márquez. She started racing motocross before switching to road bikes. As well as riding in eSC, she’s also challenging for the Elf CIV Women’s European Cup and CIV Supersport 300 in Italy, racing for the sport’s first all-female team.

Known across the eSC paddock as 'Bushes', Motorbike racer Luke Hedger won the British Motostar and National Superstock 600 championships back-to-back and continues to be a leading rider in National Superstock.

Maria Paula Mapis grew up in Bogota, Colombia, dreaming of becoming a motorbike racer like her sporting heroes, the legendary Valentino Rossi and Marc Márquez. She initially fed her need for speed by taking up rollerblading before switching to racing motorbikes on track and off road, competing in several all-female competitions, including third place overall in the LatinoAmericano Feminino and P3 in the single-make Italika Women’s Internacional. Away from the track, Maria is studying graphic design and her hobbies include acting, modelling and working out at the gym.
