Dublin-based Murphy Scooters are led by former Asian F3 driver and Murphy Prototypes founder Greg Murphy. Greg Murphy has spent more than a decade running the Murphy Prototypes team in the European Le Mans Series and 24 Hours of Le Mans with such drivers as Karun Chandhok and Brendan Hartley. Murphy Prototypes has an ‘Alternative Powered Vehicles’ division which specialises in designing vehicles which use alternative power sources including electricity. “eSC represents the perfect intersection between our sporting pedigree and advanced technology ambitions,” says Greg. “We look forward to helping create a new generation of racer that will also positively impact the alternative energy and transportation sectors.”

Roomet Saalik

Freestyle scooter rider Roomet is one of the best in the business and scooped a cheque for a cool $7,500 for best trick at the 2020 Action Space Invitational. He performed a quadruple spins on one jump, which no one has been able to pull off before or since – not even Roomet! He’s also managed to back flip an electric scooter – which weighs 40kg.

Marc Luna

Keen sportsman and Co-commentator on DAZN for WorldSBK. Marc lives by the motto ‘healthy mind in a healthy body’ and as a fan of all types of sport, such as football, skiing, climbing, running and cycling, Luna says keeping fit keeps him happy. Based in Barcelona, the Spanish rider first sat on a motorbike at the age of six and quickly forged an interest to compete on two wheels. He reached the heights of the Moto2 European Championship and the support series to the SBK World Championship. Marc has also been a winner in the Spanish and Italian Championships. His riding days are now over, partly due to an injury in his arm, and today the youngster has taken a step upstairs to the commentary box, now talking about WorldSBK and other series, such as the Red Bull Rookies Cup and FIM CEV Repsol for Spanish language station DAZN. He's also studying mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalunya and is working as a project manager for a multinational lighting company. ‍

Dakota Schuetz

With over 60 professional titles and multiple world championships, Dakota Schuetz is one of the world’s most successful scooter riders. He grew up in San Diego, California where his father Gary is the Olympic coach for velodrome cycling. For the past three years, Kota has been building skateparks and running a rental company for electric scooters in Dubai.
