The official race team of Helbiz, the world’s leading manufacturer of micro-mobility transport. Helbiz was founded in 2015 by Italian entrepreneur, Salvatore Palella, with the aim of solving the first mile/last mile transportation problem of high-traffic urban areas around the world. The company produces three types of electric vehicles which includes the industry leading e-scooter that was the first of its kind to be introduced in Italy. As a front runner in micromobility, Helbiz will also bring the same level of focus and determination to the racing action, aiming to be a front runner from the start. “eSC takes us into an adrenaline-fueled and exciting world.” – Emanuele Liatti, Helbiz Chief

Jordan Rand

Rider
Catwalk model, athlete and environmentalist. Stepping off the Paris catwalk and onto an Harley-Davidson LiveWire is all in a day’s work for the American athlete-turned-model. Jordan Rand has been modelling for the past five years and has recently shot a global campaign for a major car manufacturer’s new electric vehicle. As an environmental campaigner, she’s also planning to sell her Ducati in favour of an electric bike. Jordan grew up in Colorado Springs, studied psychology in Manhattan and her modelling has taken her to London and now Paris. But her passion for sport developed at school, where she would regularly set an alarm for 4am to practice figure skating before classes started. With no scholarships for skating at college, Rand switched to track and field and while successful, admits that athletics didn’t fulfil the same passion — that’s when she decided to start riding motorbikes. For nearly a decade she has attended sessions at the California Superbike School in LA, but never committed to a racing career because she has been focused on her modelling career. Jordan’s first competitive sport since college will be the eSkootr Championship, something she describes as “really cool and badass”. She adds that she is striving to raise awareness for diversity, inclusion, equality and sustainability and is excited by both the accessibility and the gender equality of eSC. “I want to advocate for women, people of colour and, as I’m bisexual, I’m going to race with a rainbow flag on my helmet to advocate for LBGTQ+.”

Sara Cabrini

Rider
Elf CIV Women's European Cup's Rookie of the 2021 season Growing up in Florence and delighting in the exploits of the brilliant Valentino Rossi on TV, Sara Cabrini rode horses before switching to bikes and becoming a test rider for an Italian tyre company. She made the step up to competition racing mini moto bikes in the Italian Dodici Pollici cup where she immediately demonstrated her raw speed and instinctive race craft. That led to a last-minute call from front-running Team Trasimeno to ride for them at Mugello in the final of the Italian-based Elf CIV Women's European Cup where she claimed a sensational third place to become rookie of the season. The team has now snapped her up to race for them for the entire season alongside racing in the inaugural eSC championship.

Jamiel Guerchadi

Rider
Extreme sports fan, goes cliff-jumping and performed a triple-backflip off a bridge. Jamiel developed his love of freestyle scootering and extreme sports at the local skatepark in Logano. Having achieved his first backflip at the age of 12, it came as no surprise he was soon getting an adrenaline rush from other sports such as snowboarding and skiing. Today he is even a fan of cliff-jumping and - don’t try this at home - has even completed a triple-backflip off a bridge. After deciding to study biology and chemistry, Guerchadi ended his studies and today works in a gym as a fitness instructor as well as teaching parkour and snowboarding. He is also a commentator for Swiss and Italian-language TV where he has presented World Extreme Barcelona (which includes skating, freestyle scooter and BMX) and also the Italian Parkour Championship.‍
