Represented the Ireland hockey team 200 times, going to the Olympics and winning silver in 2018. Nicci’s father Vivion Daly – a hugely popular and well-respected driver in Ireland – her uncle is ex-F1 driver Derek Daly, and her cousin Connor drives in IndyCar. Vivion passed away when Nicci was just 14 years old, at a time when she was competing in both Gaelic football and hockey at school. The Dubliner was picked for the Irish Senior hockey team, but at the time when the sport had little recognition and virtually no funding. But the squad achieved great things. In 2018 they became the first Irish team to reach the World Cup final and came away with a silver medal. They also became the first Irish women’s hockey team to qualify for the Olympics. After her final game for the team in Tokyo, she retired having represented her country 200 times. After achieving a degree in mechanical engineering, Daly studied for a masters in motorsport and became a data engineer for an IndyLights racing team. After two years, she returned to Ireland and established the Formula Female initiative to encourage more women to work in the motorsport industry. She has also founded Go Girls Karting which is designed to drive visibility and active participation of young girls in the sport in addition to a STEM initiative to demystify the subjects and show how they align with motorsport.

Former race mechanic with McLaren. Danny Skinner's love of motorsports drove him to a career as a mechanic building supercars for F1 powerhouse McLaren in Woking. Danny soon moved to join their Pure programme supporting McLaren customers and fine tuning their cars for track days, or to race for the McLaren Cup - the McLaren GT4 Championship. The championship gave Danny the chance to travel around the world but the Covid-19 pandemic put a halt to his employment and he found a new role working in an electric scooter workshop. Fellow eSC rider Jordan Rand got in touch about acquiring a scooter and that alerted Danny to eSC. In preparation for the series, the 35-year-old has lost 25kg to give himself a competitive advantage and is relishing the opportunity to compete against the opposition. “There’s no doubt being lighter will help in braking and accelerating,” he says. “But I’ve noticed in the trials that the taller riders are able to give themselves a decent push off the line to improve their getaway - so we shall see…” While he has driven karts for recreation, Skinner has never had the opportunity take up professional motorsport prior to entering eSC.

Winner of the CrossFit Open Championship. As winner of the CrossFit Open Championship, Anish Shetty is officially the Fittest Man in Asia – the most populous continent on the planet! To maintain his staggering fitness levels, Anish trains six times a week in the gym and also operates a racing school and riding academy at a motorcycle circuit in Bengaluru. Anish was 15-years-old when his father bought him his first motorcycle. In those early days he would spend hours in a workshop close to his home tuning his machine and racing against his friends. Two years later, Anish entered his first race and also started freestyle stunt riding. His rise through the ranks of Indian motorsport was imperious, as his off-road exploits landed him 20 podiums in just two years. From there, Anish switched to circuit racing and won multiple Indian national championships. He graduated to the Asian Road Racing Championship and became the first rider from India to score points in the series. Since then he has competed in cross-country rallies and won the Desert Storm Rally. The growth of motorsport in India and the number of participants actively taking part has led the 27-year-old to establish the 44 School of Racing in his home town of Bengaluru. He trains riders for circuit racing, cross-country rallies in addition to freestyle stunt riding and bespoke motorsport fitness programmes.‍
